The success of a society depends to a large extent on a correct strategic conception of different public policies, policies which must be backed by a base of solid information and knowledge. In the current economic context, Public Administrations and entities involved in regional development need mechanisms that support an improved management of information, and offer arguments for adequate decision-making. This will help to guarantee sustainable development in a regional context, regional cohesion and improved quality of life for regional citizens. |
